Sutton Coldfield won the Aaron Boyce Memorial Greater Birmingham Sevens by beating Bournville 28-14 in the final at Moseley's Billesley Common ground.
Sutton, who were runners-up 12 months earlier, took charge early on when captain James Butler went over for the opening try.
Bournville limited Sutton's lead to 14-7 at half-time but two tries from Dave Edwards after the break set up the win.
Sutton had earlier beaten the Boyce Barbarian 14-0 and the OTT 27-12 to reach the quarter-finals where they beat Jokers from Bromsgrove 35-5.
They then faced the Akkies from Loughborough University, last season's winners, in the semi-finals and avenged their final defeat of 12 months ago with a 28-7 win. The trophy was presented by Moseley number eight James Rodwell who will be playing for England at Twickenham on May 22 and 23 in the Emirates Airline London Sevens.
