England Counties Under 20s XV seek Honorary Team Manager

The newly-formed England Counties U20's XV is looking to appoint an Honorary Team Manager.
The RFU Player Pathway Task Group [June 2010] accepted that U20 County Championship rugby has real value in creating interest, enriching the Community Game, driving up quality and aiding retention of all participants. To strengthen the U20 County Championship an England representative team will be established at this age, with players having to have played in the County Championship to be eligible.
The Manager will lead the England Counties U20s XV Management Team, to produce a successful team on and off the field. The responsibilities would include, through the team, strengthening the County Championship and providing a development pathway for managers, coaches, sports medical staff and referees. The role will also include leading and managing the playing programme for the England Counties U20s XV, including defining the programme, player selection, and match preparation.
The applicant should be generally respected as a person of authority within the game with a background in County rugby. They will demonstrate the organisational and management skills commensurate with such a position, combined with tact and diplomacy.
