Old Halesonians, Ledbury, Veseyans and Woodrush have been recognised in the Crabbie’s National Rugby Awards.
They will be invited to a glittering ceremony at Twickenham on August 29 which will recognise contributions to rugby at all levels.
Old Halesonians, Veseyans and Ledbury have all been shortlisted for the Youth and Mini Section if the Year Award. They will face competition for the prize from Avonmouth in Bristol, Cumbria’s Kirby Lonsdale and Littleborough of Lancashire.
Woodrush have been shortlisted for the Facility Development of the Year Award for an ongoing project at their Forhill headquarters which includes match floodlights, a new playing surface and increased car parking.
Haydn Price, of Redditch-based PR Facilities Management, who has supported Woodrush has been shortlisted for the Club Sponsor of the Year Award.
Woodrush face competition from Harlow of Essex, Devon’s Plymstock Albion Oaks, Aireborough from Yorkshire, Old Reigatians from Surrey and Cheshunt from Hertfordshire for the national award.
