North Midlands are guaranteed one representative in the fourth round of this season’s RFU Intermediate Cup after Ludlow and Droitwich were paired in the third round draw.
Ludlow will have home advantage for the tie on October 28 with Droitwich aiming to follow up a successful cup run last season when they won the Midlands Senior Vase and reached the national final of the RFU Senior Vase.
Kidderminster Carolians and Whitchurch, the other two North Midlands survivors in the Intermediate Cup, will both have home third round ties. Kidderminster host Earlsdon from Coventry with Whitchurch entertaining Nottingham Casuals.
In the RFU Senior Vase Woodrush have been reinstated to the competition after Shrewsbury, who beat them in the second round, were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player.
Woodrush have now been drawn at home to Ashby in the third round on October 28.
Harborne and Ledbury have also been drawn at home to Shipston on Stour and Handsworth respectively.
In the RFU Junior Vase the two surviving North Midlands clubs have both been drawn at home in the third round on October 28. Church Stretton will host St Leonards from Stafford with Yardley & District facing Brackley from Northamptonshire.
