Luctonians retained the North Midlands Colts Cup by scoring six second half tries to defeat hosts Old Halesonians 41-10 at Wassell Grove.
There were just two points between the sides at half-time as Luctonians responded to an early Old Halesonians try with a converted try from Jack Prescott.
But Luctonians took a firm grip on the match in the second half with George Sweetman and Pierre Watkins crossing for two tries apiece and Max Smith and Aaron Layton also scoring tries.
The county cup win sets Luctonians up for this weekend’s trip to Wharfedale in the National Under-18s Cup semi-finals.
Hereford, beaten finalists in last season’s North Midlands Colts Cup, won the Tom Walters Plate by beating Dudley Kingswinford 20-17 in the final.
