North Midlands Under-18s will begin their campaign against Staffordshire at Hinckley on Sunday October 29 (12.30pm).
This year all six Midlands counties will compete in three Super Sunday tournaments which will allow all of the Midlands selectors to watch and assess each player before they name a squad for development days at Leicester Grammar School in the New Year.
North Midlands, who held their own assessment day involving Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Greater Birmingham at Droitwich last month, have held training sessions at Bromsgrove School, King’s School, Worcester and Stourbridge to prepare for Sunday’s match.
The squad includes eight players from Shropshire and Herefordshire, six from Worcestershire and one from Greater Birmingham.
North Midlands will play East Midlands at the second Super Sunday event at Broadstreet RFC on December 3 and opponents to be decided in the third tournament, also at Broadstreet, on December 17.
