| North Midlands Under-20s hooker Jonah Boyce has been called into the Midlands squad for the England Counties Under-20s Divisional Festival at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College from April 18 to 20.Boyce, who plays his club rugby for Birmingham & Solihull, has been added to the squad as a late replacement for Ben Brownlie (Cambridge and East Midlands) who suffered a broken sternum suffered on club duty last weekend.
Boyce becomes the fifth North Midlands player in the Midlands Under-20s squad, joining his club-mate Chris Fensome, wing Joe Hearle (Shrewsbury Sixth Form College and Shrewsbury), lock Solomon Dacres (Bromsgrove) and back-row forward Connor Nicholls (Worcester Wanderers) who will captain the Midlands. |
