North Midlands will be missing number eight Adam Brankley when they make a belated start to their National Under-20 Championship campaign against East Midlands at Moseley’s Billesley Common ground on Sunday February 28 (2.15pm).
Brankley was injured playing for Harper Adams University recently so his place in the squad has been taken by Billy Castle of Birmingham & Solihull.
North Midlands were due to start their Championship campaign against Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire three weeks ago but the match was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
That match has now been rearranged for Sunday March 6 at Derby RFC, the original venue. The national quarter-finals are scheduled for March 27.
