Past North Midlands Cup winners Camp Hill will attempt to cap their 125th anniversary season by winning the North Midlands Shield when they face Kidderminster Carolians in the final at Dudley Kingswinford on Sunday May 12 (3pm).
Camp Hill celebrated their centenary season in 1993/94 by winning the North Midlands Cup for the second and last time when they beat Worcester in the final at Moseley.
They have since won the Shield, the second-tier North Midlands competition, in 2008 and return to county Finals Day hoping for more silverware.
But Camp Hill will face an in-form Kidderminster Carolians side who clinched promotion to Midlands One West in a play-off two weeks ago and who are seeking to win the North Midlands Shield for the fourth time and third in four seasons after successes in 2016 and 2017.
Ross-on-Wye will be attempting to complete a hat-trick of wins in the North Midlands Vase when they face Birmingham Civil Service at Dudley Kingswinford on Sunday (12.30pm).
Ross won the competition in 2017 and successfully defended their title last season. They are also a side in form having already clinched promotion to Gloucester Premier next season having followed up last season’s Gloucester Two title with the Gloucester One crown.
Birmingham Civil Service will be making their first appearance at a North Midlands finals day.
The format of North Midlands Finals Day has changed this season with the North Midlands Cup final being played as a stand-alone event. Bridgnorth won the competition for the first time when they beat Dudley Kingswinford in a tense contest at Stourbridge in March.
There will be two more finals at Dudley Kingswinford on Sunday with Yardley & District facing Pershore in the North Midlands Vase Plate final at 12.30pm and Veseyans and Old Saltleians meeting in the North Midlands Shield Plate at 3pm.
Old Saltleians have already won the Shield Plate twice in 2015 and again two years ago.
