Camp Hill’s Women’s section are seeking a new Head Coach to lead the development of all aspects of senior Ladies rugby at the club.
The Ladies section Head Coach will be working with females of all levels, from novices to experienced divisional and ex-international age grade players and as the Junior Section continues to develop will play a role in supporting the Junior Coaching Team.
The role will report in to, but not be part of, the Ladies Committee.
The Ladies section Head Coach ,in conjunction with the section Head of Playing Affairs, will be permitted to enhance the Coaching Team.
This role will offer a remuneration package to cover expenses, but that offers the opportunity to truly develop as a coach; Camp Hill WRFC will
support any training that needs or wants to be undertaken. This post requires a two year minimum commitment.
Ideally the successful candidate will:
Be, at a minimum , an experienced RFU Level 2 Coach.
Have experience playing and / or coaching at a suitably high level.
Have a desire to constantly develop and be willing to receive feedback .
Have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels.
Be hardworking, honest, trustworthy and able to buy into and positively shape the culture and ethos of the Ladies Section.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from pre-season to the end of the season
Lead Coach for all games on a Sunday at locations that will require travel time.
Work specifically with the first team but oversee any development players with the coaching team.
Have an active role in team selection, including setting and implementing a clear selection policy with the Ladies Committee.
Plan and lead the Club Game Plan.
Develop players by:
Reviewing players during matches and training
Providing honest but constructive feedback, at the appropriate time
Working with individual players and the squad to improve their skills and understanding of the game
Working with the club coaching coordinator to review and implement a club wide model of player performance
Have a motivational and empowering view of coaching, rewarding success and development
Participate in the goal and objective setting for the 2 year performance plan.
Support, the growing Junior girls section to ensure we identify the senior players of the future
