Volunteer – What can I do?
Before offering to volunteer for any role in any walk of life, people will will do so in trepedation for fear of the unknown. What am I letting myself in for? Do I have the skills and comptence to help administer or deliver the game? These are pertinent questions but ones that are easily answered through effective communication. Everyone can do something or be trained to take on a role within a rugby club, from laying out a pitch with cones for the U7s to becoming Chairman! Everyone has to start somewhere – a good place to get some ideas as to what you might like to do, information on the many roles available and how to get involved can be found on the RFU website via these links:
