North Midlands Under-17s will make their bow when they play Cheshire at Dudley Kingswinford on Sunday March 24 (2.30pm).
The squad has been launched with the aim of strengthening the affinity players have with county rugby as they progress through the age groups.
It will also help players make the transition from Under-16s to Under-18s county rugby and improve talent identification and continuity in selection and coaching.
The squad selected for the inaugural match includes players who have played for North Midlands Under-16s or for Worcester Warriors Academy Under-16s this season.
Two members of this season’s North Midlands Under-18s coaching team, Kieram Hallam and Trevor Bufton, will take charge of the side.
North Midlands Under-17s will also play Staffordshire at Stourbridge on April 5.
