North Midlands Under-18s will start their preparations for their forthcoming programme of county matches next week.
The county selectors will be present at Droitwich RFC on Wednesday September 23 for the North Midlands Festival (6pm) kick-off after which a squad to prepare for three county matches will be chosen.
The North Midlands squad will have training sessions on September 27 and October 4 and then play Warwickshire at Barkers’ Butts on October 7 (7.30pm).
Their second match will be against Staffordshire at Stourbridge on October 21 (7.30pm) with the final match against opponents to be determined at the Super Sunday tournament at Broadstreet RFC on November 1.
After the Super Sunday event, which will feature all six Midlands counties, the Midlands selectors will name a squad for training sessions on December 6 and January 3 ahead of the Divisional Festival in the New Year.
