North Midlands will start their preparations for this season’s National Under-20 Championship when they face Berkshire in the first of two warm-up matches at Dudley Kingswinford on Sunday December 13 (2pm).
Players from more than 20 different clubs have been named in a provisional squad after two weekends of trials and developments sessions in recent weeks.
The squad is a mixture of returning players from last season with emerging new talent from clubs across North Midlands and further afield although Berkshire, who won comfortably in a friendly against North Midlands last season, are expected to provide tough opposition.
North Midlands will play a second warm-up match against Warwickshire on January 11 before they face Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire in their Championship opener at Derby on February 7 (2pm).
North Midlands will then host East Midlands at Moseley in their second group match on February 28 (2.15pm).
