North Midlands will launch their National Under-20 Championship campaign with a pool match against Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire at Dudley Kingswinford’s Heathbrook ground on Sunday January 4 (2.15pm).
North Midlands limbered up for the national competition with friendlies against Cheshire and Buckinghamshire while NLD were beaten 32-11 by Eastern Counties in their Championship opener in late November.
North Midlands will travel to play Eastern Counties, who beat them at Dudley Kingswinford in last season’s National Under 20 Championship, in their second pool match on January 25. The top two teams in each pool progress to the national quarter finals.
