North Midlands have called up lock James Rutherford and wing Jordan Maddocks for their crunch Jason Leonard Under-20s County Championship match against East Midlands at Daventry on Sunday March 17 (2.30pm).
Rutherford of Luctonians and Maddocks of Woodrush were both involved in North Midlands’ warm-up matches against Cheshire and Warwickshire but missed the defeat by Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire in the championship opener last month.
NLD, who also beat East Midlands, have already qualified for the national quarter-finals and the winners of Sunday’s match will join them.
North Midlands have also added Hereford’s Bryn Goodall and Newport’s Jake Leonard to their bench as further changes to the side beaten by NLD.
