North Midlands will face Hampshire, Warwickshire and Somerset in Pool Two of the second tier of the revamped County Championship next season.
The County Championship will retain its three tier structure but promotion and relegation will only take place every other season with points from one season carrying over into the next.
The changes follow the County Rugby Review which took place last year. All 28 counties have been seeded using the results from the previous three seasons to decide which competition they will compete in next season.
North Midlands have maintained the same level as last season and will start their campaign in the revamped championship with a home match against Hampshire on May 6.
They will then face a short trip to play Warwickshire away on May 13 and complete their pool programme with another home match on May 20.
The top team in the pool will meet the winners of Pool One in the final at Twickenham on May 27.
Venues for the pool matches have yet to be confirmed.
