Eleven North Midlands players have been included in the Midlands Under-20s Final Trial in Nottingham on April 3.
Their selection follows impressive displays in recent National Under-20 Championship matches against East Midlands and Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire and follows the next stage in the selection process for this season Midlands Under-20s side.
After the Final Trial the Midlands selectors will name a squad of 23 players to prepare for a match against the Nottingham Academy on April 23 ahead of the Divisional Match against the North at Long Eaton on May 1.
The North fixture will be a final chance to impress the England Counties Under-20s selectors before a squad is chosen to tour Russia in June.
The North Midlands players who have been invited to the Midlands Final Trial are: scrum half Jacob Nash (Stourbridge), hooker Ellis Moysey (Newport), fly-half Jack Harrison (Newport), tighthead prop Jordan Grass (Newport), wings Will Ford (Hereford) and Matt Dight (Birmingham & Solihull), lock Billy Castle (Birmingham & Solihull), blindside flanker Ben Vincent (Harper Adams University), number eight Jake Guildford (Edwardians), full-back Joe Hearle (Southend) and openside flanker Sam Montieri (Bromsgrove).
