County quintet in Midlands Under-18s squad

Five North Midlands players have been included in the Midlands Under-18s squad for the Divisional Festival at Loughborough University between February 21 and 23.Flanker Will Elt (King’s School Worcester and Worcester RFC), wing Joe Hearle (Shrewsbury Sixth Form College and Shrewsbury RFC), prop James Page (Malvern College), hooker Callum Young (Bromsgrove School and Worcester RFC) and centre Lewis Suckling (Ellesmere College) all secured their places after impressing for North Midlands in their programme of county matches before Christmas and at the Divisional Trial in December.

The Divisional Festival will include a varied programme of 10-a-side and 15-a-side matches as well as positional specific sessions.

England Under-18 Clubs and Schools selectors will be in attendance before they named a squad to prepare for matches against France Under-18 A and Ireland Cluns Under-18s at Marcoussis in France in April.
