Two North Midlands schools are through to the semi-finals of the NatWest Schools Under-18 competitions.
Bromsgrove have reached the semi-finals of the NatWest Schools Under-18 Cup for the first time while King Edward VI, Aston are through to the last four of the Vase competition.
Both will be in action at Allianz Park, home of Aviva Premiership club Saracens, on March 7 where Bromsgrove will face Oundle, another first-time semi-finalist at this age group, and King Edward’s, Aston will play Churcher’s College from Petersfield.
Bromsgrove beat Daunstey’s from Wiltshire 44-12 in their quarter-final with hooker Henry Walker and centre Jase Edwards scoring two each. The other came from fly-half Lee White and flanker Harry Lloyd-Jones.
King Edward’s, Aston progressed with a 12-10 win in Devon over West Buckland School which was sealed by a late try from wing Warren Davis.
Number eight Alex Bennett had earlier crossed for the opening try.
