Evesham and Droitwich, the last surviving North Midlands clubs in this season’s RFU competitions have been kept apart in the Midlands semi-finals of the RFU Senior Vase.
Evesham will have home advantage against Stewarts & Lloyds from Corby on January 14 but Droitwich face a trip to Northampton Casuals.
Evesham beat Long Buckby, another Northamptonshire club, 43-10 in the last round while Droitwich trounced Daventry 60-3.
The winners of the Midlands semi-finals will progress to the regional final, effectively the national quarter-final, in March.
There are no North Midlands clubs left in the RFU Intermediate Cup or RFU Junior Vase with Bromyard losing 13-8 to Sileby Town and Chaddesley Corbett going down 45-16 to East Retford in the last round of the Junior Vase.
