Three North Midlands clubs have progressed to the fourth round of this season’s National Colts Cup.
Moseley, who won the inaugural National Colts Cup in 1998, edged out Nuneaton 10-8 in their third round tie while Luctonians beat local rivals Hereford 10-0 and Kidderminster Carolians defeated Malvern 36-17 in another all-North Midlands tie.
Telford Hornets missed out on the fourth round when they were beaten 44-10 at home by Lichfield.
The fourth round draw will be made on December 1 with sides beaten in the first three rounds of the Cup now entering the National Colts Plate.
The National Colts Cup was introduced as part of East Midlands RU’s Centenary celebrations in 1997/98 with the Plate competition following two seasons later.
Both competitions are organised by East Midlands are contested by Under-18 teams from clubs across England.
