Three North Midlands players will start for Midlands Under-18s against the South West in their opening match of the England Counties Under-18s National Development Weekend at Stourbridge on Friday February 23 (2pm).
Wing Levi Hughes of Herefordshire and loosehead prop Jamie White and lock Jack Bishop, both of Worcestershire, secured their places in the final Midlands squad of 23 for the tournament having impressed on county duty with North Midlands before Christmas and at assessment and development sessions last month.
All three have now been handed starting berths against the South West which will given them an early opportunity to impress the England Counties Under-18 selectors.
