There was disappointment for Moseley and Kidderminster Carolians at the RFU National Under-17 competitions finals day at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford today.
Moseley were beaten 16-10 by Bromley inĀ the National Under-17 Shield final, the first of four finals on a busy day of rugby at the home of Sale Sharks, while Kidderminster were beaten 39-7 by Heathfield & Waldron in the Plate final.
Centre Ollie Perry and number eight Wes Blackhurst scored unconverted tries for Moseley but Bromley completed a trophy double on the day as their senior side won the RFU Senior Vase at Twickenham.
Kidderminster’s try was scored by scrum-half Alex Sparks.
