Droitwich Under-17s made it seven North Midlands titles in a row after they beat Lichfield 55-5 in the final at Old Halesonians.
The run began at Under-10 level and culminated in a crushing victory in the North Midlands Under-17 Cup final at Wassell Grove.
“Firstly, I’d like to applaud our opponents Lichfield for a very impressive and committed performance,” said Droitwich coach Adam Drew.
“They battled hard throughout and we were forced to work extremely hard to score our eight tries. We took our time to settle in the match, but we showed good composure and scored some great tries”.
“Our record remains intact and that gives me an immense sense of pride for the boys and Droitwich RFC. We will now re-group ahead of touch and sevens tournaments which will lead neatly into our summer conditioning and fitness programme”.
“Our plans for next season as Colts are well advanced, and we would welcome any boys interested in joining us regardless of their experience.”
