Shrewsbury wing Adam Faulkner ran in a hat-trick of tries to help England Deaf rout Italy 131-0 in the first Deaf International between the two countries in Treviso.
Faulkner, who joined Shrewsbury from Oswestry during the summer, led the way as England ran in 21 unanswered tries against the newest deaf rugby-playing nation.
Italy found that passion and physicality could not counter-balance their lack of match hardness against an England side who have made significant progress in the past 12 months.
With fly-half Graham Sage back in the side for the first time since he broke a shoulder against Wales almost two years ago, England made good use of their wealth of possession.
