| Greater Birmingham booked their place in the RLF Three Counties Championship final with a heart-stopping 16-10 win over Worcestershire & Herefordshire at Birmingham Exiles RFC this evening.Greater Birmingham opened up a 16 points lead in the opening quarter but then saw the Two Counties eat away at their lead.
Greater Birmingham also had to withstand a forward barrage from the Two Counties in the last five minutes when they had to defend a series of five metre scrums. A final surge looked certain to bring a try but Greater Birmingham managed to get bodies under the ball and there was no time for a further scrum. |
