North Midlands Girls Under-18s defeated Warwickshire 44-12 on the artificial grass pitch at Walsall’s Delves Road ground thanks to try hat-tricks from Jemima Moss (Worcester) and Brandie Mason (Dudley Kingswinford).
North Midlands executed their plan to play with quick ball away from the breakdown and took the lead after seven minutes when Abi Roberts (Greyhound) crossed for the opening try.
The second followed after a period of sustained forward pressure from Worcester’s Niamh Massam-Valley with Moss adding the conversion.
Warwickshire responded with a well- worked try after continued pressure at the breakdown and took advantage of a gap in the defence.
But North Midlands regrouped and continued to dominate in the backs with the ball being shipped wide for Eleanor Beech (Telford Hornets) to race in.
Another strong run from Moss saw her cross under the posts for a try which she goaled and further pressure at the ruck allowed Mason to score her first out wide.
Mason started the second half as she ended the first with a try before Warwickshire replied with an opportunistic try from a knock-on.
North Midlands finished strongly with Mason completing her hat-trick and Moss powering over for her second then third.
