Holders Bromsgrove School are through to fifth round of this season’s NatWest Schools Under-18 Cup.
Bromsgrove, who are looking to complete a hat-trick of wins in the national competition, beat Sandbach School 28-6 in the last round and will now host Sir Thomas Rich’s School from Gloucester on November 30.
But Bromsgrove’s hopes of completing a cup double ended when their Under-15 side were edged out 12-8 at Cheltenham College in their NatWest Schools tie.
In the NatWest Schools Under-15 Vase, King Edward VI Five Ways will have home advantage against Welland Park Community College following a 36-26 win over local rivals King Edward VI Aston.
