Former Wales and British and Irish Lions fly-half Phil Bennett will be in Birmingham later this month to help raise funds to establish a new wheelchair rugby team in the city.
Bennett will be joined by former England and Lions full-back Tim Stimpson and five times Paralympian Alan Ash at the dinner and dance at Birmingham Moseley’s Billesley Common ground on May 18 (7pm).
The event, which is supported by Thursfields Solicitors, will help Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby, raise funds to establish a wheelchair rugby team based at Moseley.
Tickets for the black tie event cost £75, or £700 for a table of ten, and can be booked through Mark Burgoyne or Lee Evans on 0121 443 3631 at: bookings@moseleyrugby.co.uk
