There were mixed fortunes for Hereford, Dudley Kingswinford and Moseley, the three surviving North Midlands clubs, in the National Colts Plate fifth round draw.
Hereford were handed a home draw against Moortown from Leeds but the other two clubs face long trips north.
Dudley Kingswinford will travel to the Yorkshire Dales to face Wharefdale while Moseley face a trek to Westoe if they can overcome Market Bosworth in a delayed fourth round tie.
Moseley were the winners of the inaugural National Colts Cup back in 1998 when the competition was introduced as part of the East Midlands RU’s Centenary celebrations.
The National Colts Plate, for teams beaten in rounds one to three of the Cup, was introduced in the 1999/2000 season.
North Midlands interest in the National Colts Cup ended with Birmingham & Solihull’s fourth round defeat by Wolverhampton.
The quarter finals are scheduled to be played on or before February 22.
