North Midlands Under-20s hope to welcome back Bedwas flanker Sam Montieri for their National Under-20 Championship quarter-final against holders Yorkshire at Thornensians RFC on March 27 (2.30pm).
Montieri, previously with Bromsgrove, missed the defeat by Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire in North Midlands’ final group match three weeks ago because of injury but he has been named in the squad for the quarter-final.
Morgan Dawes, Will Ford, Leon Parsons, Adam Brankley and Jack Harrison also return for the trip to Yorkshire but flanker Ben Vincent misses out through injury and prop Lewis McClinton is unavailable.
