North Midlands Women have named 18 newcomers in their squad for Gill Burns County Championship opener against East Midlands at Biggleswade on Sunday April 29 (2pm).
Only wing Jade Bailey, centre and captain Joanna Hart and tighthead prop Kerrianne Meadowcroft in the starting XV have played for the county before.
Charlie Byrne is the only player with previous county experience among the replacements.
After Sunday’s match North Midlands host Lancashire then Durham at Birmingham University on May 6 and 13.
