North Midlands have convened a Full Committee meeting to be held at Dudley Kingswinford RFC on Monday April 3 to vote on the vacancy for one of the two RFU Council Members who will represent the Constituent Body for the next 12 months.
In a recent ballot of North Midlands clubs Steve Guy was re-elected with 41 votes but Paul Kaminski and Judith Phelps, the two other candidates seeking to replace Stuart Potts, polled 21 votes each.
Under RFU Regulations if there is a tie in a ballot of clubs, a meeting of the CB Full Committee must be called within 14 days.
Both candidates will have the opportunity to make a short presentation to the Full Committee followed by questions and answers.
There will then be a closed ballot of elected Full Committee Members. If there is still deadlock a further ballot will be conducted of the North Midlands Management Committee, who have a scheduled meeting at Dudley Kingswinford on April 3.
