North Midlands have called up Stourbridge flanker Sam Montieri for tomorrow’s Bill Beaumont County Championship Division Two South match against Warwickshire at Bromsgrove’s Finstall Park ground.
Montieri, a former Bromsgrove player, comes into the starting line-up in place of Charley Wright of Bridgnorth who is unavailable this weekend because he is required by Midlands Under-20s for the England Counties Under-20s Divisional Festival in Derby.
Adam Lee of Old Satleians, who came off the bench in last week’s 56-35 defeat by Hampshire, replaces his cousin Tom in the back row and Birmingham Moseley wing Taz Wara starts in place of Ross Attwood in the other changes to the starting XV.
There are five changes on the bench where Joe Wrafter, Gareth Jones, Niall Gibbons, Jordan Burgess and Ben Phillips come into the squad.
Last season North Midlands and Warwickshire fought out a remarkable 56-56 draw at Rugby.
