North Midlands will complete their preparations for this season’s County Championship Bill Beaumont Cup campaign with a training match against Worcestershire & Herefordshire at Bromsgrove’s Finstall Park on Wednesday May 4 (7.30pm).
The game has been arranged to give Alex Davidson, the new North Midlands head coach, an opportunity to watch the squad in match conditions ahead of the opening County Championship Second Division group match against Kent at Canterbury on May 7.
The match will also help Worcestershire & Herefordshire prepare for the Iskitz Three Counties final at Newport on May 14 where they will meet either Shropshire or Greater Birmingham.
North Midlands will host Devon at Dudley Kingswinford in their second County Championship match on May 14 and then travel to play Somerset at Taunton on May 21.
The final is at Twickenham on May 29.
