I think this must be a first for North Mids and Staffs, combining forces to showcase their team of female Match Officials on a Gill Burns County Championship Semifinal! Awesome work gals and your honorary no 5 as unfortunately Patricia Sutton was otherwise engaged!

Emma Clarkie – one of our newest N.mids members, Emma has been refereeing in Warwickshire but is spreading her wings in to our patch. Emma is an AR on the RFU NLMOT and also coaches rugby in Warwickshire.
Fiona Brunt – Cheltenham based and also broadening her horizons by joining us recently, Fiona ARs in the Allianz Premiership and clocks up games for both N.mids and Glos societies. If you have the pleasure of working with Fiona expect the major bonus of awesome homebakes on match day!
Emily Hope – Hartpury uni student and Staffs lass at heart, Emily came through as a YMO and no doubt will be taking the reins on one of these fixtures next year.
Last and by no means least, our very own YMO graduate Harriet Crump who, despite never playing rugby, took up the whistle when a boy in school said “girls can’t ref!” One of my proudest moments is seeing Harriet referee her first senior men’s fixture.
