Shropshire name unchanged squad

Shropshire have named an unchanged squad for their final group match in this season’s Three Counties Championship against Greater Birmingham at Telford Hornets RFC on Tuesday May 6 (7.30pm).Both counties have already qualified for the final having beaten Worcestershire & Herefordshire in their opening group matches so the Telford contest will act as a dress rehearsal for their meeting at Stourbridge’s Stourton Park on May 13.

Shropshire are the defending champions having beaten Worcestershire & Herefordshire in last season’s final.

The Three Counties Championship is contested annually by the three Domestic Unions that make up the North Midlands RFU and has given players from outside the National Leagues an opportunity to showcase their talent.
