Camp Hill stalwart Graham Scutt has been recognised for his outstanding voluntary service to the club over a 75-year period with the presentation of a Torch Trophy Trust award.
Apart from two years when he was away in Germany on National Service, Scutt has been involved with Camp Hill since he was 11.
He had 30 years as a referee and since then has devoted himself to ensuring that current referees are well looked after when they visit Haslucks Green Road.
Scutt has also ensured that generations of Camp Hill players have had regular fixtures each Saturday in his role as the club’s fixture secretary.
Scutt, who was nominated by the RFU, was one of 19 volunteers from different sports whose outstanding service was recognised with a Torch Trophy Trust award which was presented by the Earl of Wessex.
The awards recognise outstanding role models in clubs, centres and organisations across the U.K.
