North Midlands will welcome back Reece Chapman-Cary, Tom Jones and Sam Montieri for their National Under-20 Championship quarter-final against Yorkshire at York’s Clifton Park ground on Sunday February 15 (2.15pm).
Wing Chapman-Cary (Bromsgrove and Worcester University), fly-half Jones (Luctonians) and Bromsgrove forward Montieri all played in the win over Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire last month but missed out on the defeat at Eastern Counties because of injury.
That defeat cost North Midlands the chance of a home quarter-final and they now face a tough away assignment against a Yorkshire side who were beaten by Northumberland in last season’s final.
North Midlands will travel to York without flanker Brad Cook (Bromsgrove) and centres Joe Hearle (Newport and Imperial College), Matt Watson (Evesham) and Guy Kirby (Luctonians) who are unavailable this weekend. Scott Smith (Worcester Wanderers and Bath University) and Ben Brown (Dudley Kingswinford) also miss out through injury.
