Worcestershire & Herefordshire have been forced to reshuffle their squad for the Iskitz Three Counties Championship match against Greater Birmingham at Ledbury’s Ross Road ground on Tuesday May 5 (7.30pm).
Half-backs Chris Pinner and George Morgan of Kidderminster Carolians started in last week’s defeat by holders Shropshire at Telford but are unavailable this week ahead of their club’s North Midlands Shield final against holders Bridgnorth on Sunday.
Adam Dixon of Malvern and Paul Burton of Worcester Wanderers have been called up to replace them with Guy Field of Old Halesonians, James Thomas of Droitwich, Ben Hilstead of Hereford and James Martin of Old Halesonians all called up in the pack.
The winners of tomorrow’s match will progress to the final at Old Halesonians on May 17 where they will meet Shropshire who are seeking to win the competition for a third successive season.
