Midlands Three West South club Woodrush are seeking a new Head Coach.
Woodrush are an ambitious organization with a successful junior section and a growing senior section fielding three teams most Saturdays including a Development side comprising mostly under 21-year-old players.
Woodrush will be continuing to play in league Midlands Three West South next season and after three very successful years under their previous Head Coach are now seeking a new appointment to the position.
In accordance with the club’s three-year development plan Woodrush wish to continue to develop their pool of young players and challenge for promotion to Midlands Two.
They are looking for a Head Coach with similar ambitions and with an emphasis on the development of a predominantly young squad.
The Head Coach will have principal responsibility for coaching and match preparation of the senior squad and may also be an integral member of the senior playing team. Player development will be an essential part of the required skill base as the club seeks to maintain and develop a sustainable player development strategy.
A minimum of two years experience coaching senior rugby – and performing to a high standard – is essential along with a minimum RFU Level Two Coaching Award.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about working in a team / club environment and continually improving their coaching skills and the club will be prepared to support this.
Remuneration will be by negotiation.
