More than 330 youngsters in 25 teams from 16 Midlands clubs lined up to honour those killed on active service on Remembrance Sunday.
The youngsters were taking part in the North Midlands Under-10s Mini Festival at Kidderminster Carolians’ Marlpool Lane ground but lined up for two minutes silence before the action got underway.
Players from the host club plus Bromyard, Ledbury, Luctonians, Bournville, Dudley Kingswinford, Kings Norton, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Silhillians, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich, Newport, Birmingham & Solihull and Birmingham Moseley took part in the impeccably observed ceremony.
All players received medals for participating in the festival and Droitwich won the Tug of War competition which formed part of the day’s activities.
